“Stay away from malicious gossip and fake words" (Qur'an 68;11).
Malcolm X was a key figure involved in the efforts of the civil rights movement. Although he may not receive as much recognition as he should, his impact has undoubtedly helped minorities around the world live with more security. He was a hero, a man to look up to, a man of knowledge, and a man of courage. He spoke up when everyone else was afraid. He stood for justice and freedom. He brought about change.
And if you dare undermine his efforts and struggles because you suppose he was violent, you are nothing but ungrateful. The very existence of co-existence in America between various races and ethnicities is due to his work, along with other important leaders. Malcolm was assassinated on February 21, 1965. He is someone I admire for his courage and intellect. Below I have posted some of his inspiring quotes along with one my favourite speeches of his.
And one of his speeches: “House Negro vs. Field Negro.” Aside from the humour, there is a greater messaged behind each line he speaks. He tries to explain how enslaved coloured people were to their masters that they forgot they were the same humans too, deserving of basic human rights.
